There has been a change in season, the autumn leaves fallen and a winter chill is in the air. With a change of season brings one thing, the candle changeover. What is left of the pumpkin infused candles have been put away and the Christmas Candles can now take there place.

Christmas is my favourite time of year, the season brings so much festive fun, but also comes with its fair bit of stress. The biggest thing I stress about at Christmas is what gifts I am going to get people, I would hate to give someone something they don’t like.

Every year, the industry leaders in paint release their ‘colour of the year’. This year we saw Dulux announce Spiced Honey, Graham and Brown selected Tiru and PPG Paints made Night Watch their ‘colour of the year’.

When did the Sainsbury’s Home Department become so good?

I recently went into Sainsbury’s and of course had a mooch through their homeware section and they actually have some really great items. I have always known Sainsbury’s had a home department but recently it’s stepped up from your typical supermarket home department to the same level as H&M Home and Matalan (in my eyes).

They have mastered great looking, on trend pieces but at really reasonable prices!
